Corin holds degrees in law and arts (Māori studies) from the University of Auckland. She was admitted to the bar in 2008 and started her career in resource management working in one of New Zealand's top law firms.
Corin has been practising in Family Law since 2010 and acts for parties privately and on legal aid in a wide range of Family Court matters including parenting orders, guardianship orders, care and protection matters, and protection orders. She is also a Court appointed Youth Advocate and acts for young people in the Youth Court.
She is a member of the Executive Committee of Te Hunga Roia Māori o Aotearoa (Māori Law Society) and a member of the Family Law Section.
Corin is of is of Waikato, Ngāti Whare, and Ngāti Maniapoto descent. She is a fluent Te Reo Māori speaker.
